Co-Founders

Philip Sage

Environmental Development

Philip has worked in the UK and the Philippines, and has a background silvicultural management and ecological engineering. This has included sustainable development, managing community based forest management, livelihood development, government advisory roles, flood mitigation, and traditional forest practices.Philip is an experienced professional trainer and educator working in both higher education and the commercial sector in the UK and Philippines.

 

Dr. Alan Barclay

Engineering Lead

Founder of his own software consultancy and aviation services company, Alan is experienced in software and electronic engineering and has spoken at several conferences mainly on Flight Safety.

 

Andrew Sage

Business Development

Founder and co-founder of several start-ups and a charity, Andrew is a creative and software developer. Experienced in business development, software development, event organisation, facilitation, creative writing, animations, art installations and interactive digital experiences. Spoken at several conferences and events on a range of topics.

 

Xanthe Bodington

Creative Lead

Graduate in Communication Design and Graphics, and Title design. Xanthe has worked on a range of projects including designing the Christmas Lectures 2017 opening title sequence on BBC 4, illustrated the graphic novels, SPECTRA festival in Aberdeen, and now designing graphics for trailers. Other projects have included working on animation and design projects with Quickdraw animation society and designed a handbook for the local Beekeeper group Aperies and Bees for Communities. Xanthe has worked both in the UK and Canada.

 

 

 

Associate Students

Lucy Dodd

Lucy recently graduated from the University of Cumbria with a BSc in Conservation Biology and is currently undertaking a MSc in Ecosystem Services Evaluation. Lucy’s primary interest is assessing societal perspective of ecosystem services and its role within future conservation objectives.
